If you are a fan of Japanese animation, I can almost guarantee you have heard of the series called Neon Genesis Evangelion. Featuring an apocalyptic mecha action story which resolves around the efforts by the paramilitary organisation ‘Nerv’ to fight off hostile Angels.

Bonggo’s surreal portrayal on Evangelion is absolutely stunning and I may have to dig out my old DVD’s of feature films Death and Rebirth and The End of Evangelion. You can learn more about Neon Genesis Evangelion over on wikipedia. If you enjoyed the film ‘Akira’, you will love this series!
